La locanda del pittore (ラ・ロカンダ・デル・ピットーレ)| Italian Restaurant | The Windsor Hotel TOYA

I've experienced wonderful restaurants as a tour guide, and this is one of my favorites! "La locanda del pittore (ラ・ロカンダ・デル・ピットーレ)", an Italian restaurant in cooperation with the Windsor Hotel TOYA(ザ・ウインザーホテル洞爺), is located on the hill, from which we can enjoy a wonderful scenery!

They hold a large stock of wine↓ Perfect location for a party!!!!

From the restaurant on the hill ..............................

Voila!
Look at Lake Toya (洞爺湖)!!!! How beautiful it is!!! This is more picturesque than composite photos!!! Hahaha!

The menu is like this↓

We tried to order everything!!
My guests are from
China,
Singapore,
Taiwan,
and Hong Kong!
All of them are so excited with the party planned by me!

Until pizzas would be baked,

we enjoyed wines such as "VILLA ANTINORI TOSCANA 2007".

Cheers!
One after another, the bottles were empty. Could the restaurant catch up with the speed? Race you to the goal!!!

■Grissini
Munch, munch, munch.........

■Marinara (マリナーラ)
First of all, we enjoyed the Marinara (マリナーラ)↓ I love this simple and delicious pizza!

■Pittore (ピットーレ
We should eat local mushrooms!

■Prosciutto Crudo (プロシュートクルード)
Uncured ham really goes well with wine!!

■Calzone (カルツォーネ)
The delicious tomato and Mozzarella ignited our appetite again!!

A member found seasonal limited pizzas! Sounds wonderful!!

■Gorgonzola Miele (ゴルゴンゾーラミエーレ)
The dessert pizza is very tasty!! We love the local miele (or honey) and apples.

■Carbonara (カルボナーラ)
Don't forget the pasta! How creamy it is!!

As everyone scrambled to order pizza or pasta, I couldn't take pictures of all of the dishes!! Hahaha!

■Minestrone (ミネストローネ)
The local vegetables taste very rich and dense!!

■Clams steamed in white wine (貝の白ワイン蒸し)
Yummy yummy in our tummy! As the leader liked it very much, he ordered a clam soup, too!!

■Clam soup (貝のスープ)
Hokkaido seafood is really recommendable!

■Steak
Oh!!! We also ordered beef steak? Yes, of course!!!

Our stomach must be huge like a black hole! We ordered it rare!

Last but not least, some of them enjoyed tiramisu (ティラミス).

As this is a tour planed by me not a travel agent, we could choose wonderful restaurants only! I'm so happy that they love my choices!!

Noboribetsu Grand Hotel (登別グランドホテル)②| Meals

I really love hot spring in Noboribetsu, which has as as many as seven kinds of hot spring, and is dubbed as a department store of hot spring!
I'm now staying at the "Noboribetsu Grand Hotel (登別グランドホテル)". After enjoying wonderful onsen or hot spring, we went to a dining room.

* If you are interested in the hot spring, please refer to Noboribetsu Grand Hotel (登別グランドホテル)①, my previous post→click here!

This is a dinning area↓

It looks like an ordinary hotel buffet, but something different....... Actually I chose this hotel this time because of a special event at the GRAND HALL (グランドホール).
I'll show it to you later!!!

Hokkaido reminds us of fresh seafood such as king crabs

Let's enjoy a local cuisine such as curry ramen, famous in Muroran City↓

Just deep-fried tempura is yummy x 2!!

If you like meat, how about Yongenton (四元豚),  a brand pork which is a well-marbled meat with high-quality fat?

We can enjoy local chicken steak and .............

juicy beef.

This is my first round. Have you noticed what kind of event is being held at this hotel?

Voila!
The answer is a tuna filleting event (マグロの解体ショー)! How exciting it is!!!

A whole tuna is filleted on the spot!!!! I love the show!!

Fresh tuna is super delicious!!

One of my favorite parts is flesh on the spine (中落ち)↓

Of course we enjoyed it three times!

The second, the third round and .................... Hahaha!

Tuna really goes well with EXTRA COLD!!!

I love the special version of ASAHI SUPER DRY (アサヒスーパードライ), which is kept under 0C!!!

Actually I'm not interested in desserts after drinking, but they serve several kinds.

Good night

Noboribetsu Grand Hotel (登別グランドホテル)①| Hot Spring

I really love hot spring in Noboribetsu, one of the greatest hot spring paradises in Japan. Today I'll show you "Noboribetsu Grand Hotel (登別グランドホテル)" to you!

First a blue demon welcomed us! Why demon? Because this city has Hell Valley (地獄谷), a big crater, and its mascot is demons!

Let's enter the hotel!

This is my room↓ Nice, isn't it? There are almost zero problems, but a WiFi situation. WiFi is not available at rooms, and guests have to go down to the lobby to use it .......

Well, well, well, first of all, we went to the hot spring! The areas for men and for women are exchanged at midnight so that everybody can enjoy both of them!

There are three kinds of hot spring in this hotel; ironsulfur, and salt hot spring. The inner hot spring area is HUGE and SPACIOUS, and very comfortable.

Let's go to the outdoor hot spring area! How romantic it is to take onsen (or hot spring) in the winter time, looking at the snow nearby!

I love the rock bathtub, which is filled with good quality of surfer water, making our skin seven years younger what it is!!

The water is 100% natural hot spring, not diluted with tap water!! Perfect, isn't it??

How about the cypress bathtub? Of course, it is also super great!!!

As there is a big temperature difference between the water and air outside in the winter time, we cannot see well in front of us with stream!! Hahaha!

Are you interested in the hotel meals? Please refer to my next post→Click here!! We enjoyed a tuna filleting show (マグロの解体ショー) in the dining area!
