LUCKY PIERROT (ラッキーピエロ)| Hamburger Shop | Hakodate (函館)

"LUCKY PIERROT (ラッキーピエロ)" is a very famous local hamburger shop, which can be seen only in Hakodate area↓

They serve a wide variety of hamburgers, curry, omelet and so on.....

Among them, "Chinese Chicken Hamburger (チャイニーズチキンバーガー)" is the most popular and delicious hamburger in this shop! It's got the gold award in the "Hamburger Fan Association Competition (ハンバーガー愛好会 金賞受賞)". Amazing, isn't it?

Voila!
THE hamburger is consist of deep-fried chicken with a little bit sweet soy sauce, lettuce, and mayonnaise. Yummy x 2!!!

How about "Chinese Cihcken Curry (チャイニーズチキンカレー)", which is the most popular dish in the Santa Curry 9 section?
I always try something the most popular and delicious! Hahaha!

This time, I tried something new...... I'm sure you must be surprised..... I mean nice surprise......
Look at this↓
"THE FUTOSSHO HAMBURGER (フトッチョバーガー)", meaning fatty hamburger, is the most tallest hamburger in the world. Sounds perfect to me!!!

I took it easy in the shop for a while....
Well, something strange....... They've served hamburgers for other guests with the smaller numbered tickets.
I just thought it takes longer time to make the hamburger I ordered....

Wow! Wow! Wow!
A shop clerk is coming to me with a huge hamburger, ringing a bell very loudly!!!!! Obviously the hamburger is what I ordered..... When she reaches my table, saying, "Best wishes for your continued good health and happiness. Please do your best to eat it up!"........ How interesting experience it is!
Look at this↓
How huge and appetizing it is!!!

It has a large amount of lettuce, sunny-side up in the top part. When you see the bottom part,

it has two pieces of patty, a croquette, thickly-sliced tomato, minced onion, cheese and so on....

Every part is soooooooooooooooo delicious that I was able to eat it up easily! Hahaha!
They serve delicious desserts, too.

When you come to Hakodate, please find this sign! They have several branches in the city.

I'm not sure everybody can eat up the "Futoccho Hamburger", the large special hamburger, but I'm sure you can enjoy their delicious hamburgers there!

Boyotei (望羊蹄)| Hamburger Steak Restaurant | Lake Toya

Lake Toya is one of the most popular tourist spots in Hokkaido.
Today I'll show you "Boyotei(望羊蹄)", my favorite restaurant in this area.

I like this comfortable atmosphere! The restaurant is so popular that it is always packed with its fans, some of who come all the way from Sapporo just to eat this hamburger steak on a veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery hot plate!!

This is hamburger steak, the most popular item in this restaurant! Other restaurants cannot make delicious sauce like this!

It is HOOOOOOOOOT, juicy and delicious! Be careful not to burn your tongue!

This is pork steak with ketchup sauce, the second popular item in this restaurant (I guess....).

The steak is thick but tender!!!! I love it!!!

I also recommend this salmon steak, too. Toya area is along the Pacific Ocean and famous for seafood such as scallop and salmon.

How juicy it is!

Personally I love their corn soup, which tastes very dense and creamy, too!!

It takes only a few mins from a boarding point for pleasure boats on Lake Toya to this popular restaurant.

KAMADO MARUYAMA (竈円山)| Hamburger Steak Restaurant | Sapporo

Do you know Japanese Shorthorn (短角牛)? It's a rare brand beef whose red meat is very delicious. If you want to try it, I recommend "KAMADO MARUYAMA (竈円山)"↓

All of their ingredients including Japanese shorthorn and vegetables are produced in Hokkaido. Sounds wonderful, doesn't it? They serve very delicious hamburger steak grilled on kamado oven, not a pan.

Look at the menu! There are a lot of options about the sauce; from several types of cheese, red wine to wasabi sauce..................

Well, well, well................
Cheers!!! I love sparkling wine!

We ordered a set B including appetizer, salad, bread, soup, main, drink, and dessert. This is the appetizer.

The salad is very fresh!!!

Today's soup was asari clam chower with corn. After eating the half,

we added Chinese red chili oil to it. One bit, and multiple taste. Hahaha!

The bread was served. That means we will soon have the main!!!

Here comes the wood plate! I cannot wait!!!

Wearing a paper apron, we were so ready! Hahaha!

Voila!!!
I ordered a "hamburger steak and grilled freshwater prawn with tomato cream sauce (手長海老とサロマ産ルッコラのトマトクリームソース)" set. Look at the rocket produced in Saroma, Hokkaido. It was also great!!

As the red meat is delicious, I ordered it rare! They don't use onions nor bread for the hamburger steak. Yes, this is made 100% of Japanese shorthorn.

First, the chef poured shorthorn juice, and then tomato cream sauce over it.

Furthermore, he sprinkled cheese over it! This is super-delicious!

This is "hauberger steak with cheese fondue sauce (竈特製ブレンドのチーズフォンデュソース)".Personally I recommend their cheese sauce!

We were so hungry that we also ordered beef stronganoff, which were simmered for more than four hours. Of cause they use shorthorn for it.
As shorthorn is less fatty and tastier, we could eat three portions!!! Hahaha!

Cheers, again.

Last but not least, we enjoyed panna cotta.

Shiretoko Goko Lakes Park Service Center (知床五湖パークサービスセンター)| Souvenir Shop & Food Court | Shiretoko

Shiretoko Goko Lakes Park Service Center (知床五湖パークサービスセンター) is a rest facility located near the entrance to the ground pathway (地上歩道) and the one to the elevated wooden path (高架木道).

I really recommend to drop by this place before or after walking to Shiretoko-goko lakes because it has a souvenir shop with a wide variety of local goods, and a food court serving delicious local cuisine that we cannot eat in areas other than Shiretoko!!

Let's enter it!

One of the most popular items here is....................

Shika deer burger (鹿肉バーガー)!! I know shika deer (エゾシカ) are very cute, but delicious at the same time!! They sell shika deer jerky, too!! Hahaha!!

How about rugosa rose and mountain cranberry soft ice cream (はまなすこけももミックスソフトクリーム)? Sounds very Shiretoko, doesn't it???

Yummy x 2!!! They also serve mountain berry juice! Which would you like to try, the soft ice cream, or juice, or both????

This pacility is just in front of the parking lot, and you cannot miss it!!
