LeTAO (Main Shop & PATHOS) in Otaru

LeTAO is one of the famous and popular confectionery companies in Hokkaido. There are several shops of LeTAO on Sakai-machi main street （堺町本通り） in Otaru.
We visited the main shop, across from Otaru Music Box Museum, the other day.

If you like hot chocolate, I recommend this "CHOCOLATE DRINK BAR" in the shop!

You can enjoy freshly-made chocolate drink!

I like bitter one, but you can select from sweet to mild to bitter drink.

The most popular product here is Fromage Double（ドゥーブルブルフロマージュ）; a double layered cheesecake with baked cream cheese and no-bake mascherpone.

I really love it!

I also recommend its fresh soft chocolate, especially white one with grape flavor （ホワイトチョコレートナイアガラ）!!!

On the second floor, you can eat its sweets including cakes.

Let me see.......... What should we eat???

We chose a strawberry cake,

and a chocolate cake,

and a cheese cake!

Don't forget chocolate drinks!
Look at the cups! They're soooooooooooooo cute!

LeTAO opened its new shop and cafe, PATHOS, on May 16th, 2011 on the same street!

It has a crape section,

a chocolate & cake section,

a bakery section,

and even a bag section!!!
SOMES Saddle Co. is the only manufacturer of equestrian gear in this country. The company has produced high-quality domestic harness and bags.

On the second floor, there is a cafe-restaurant.

I ate a Mont Blanc tart.

If you cannot choose only one dessert, how about a Double Plate (ドゥーブルプレート）, which has three kinds of their delicious cheese cake; Chocolat Frommage （ショコラフロマージュ）, Cinderella DE Fromage （シンデレラデフロマージュ）, and Double Fromage （ドゥーブルフロマージュ）, the most popular and standard one? Perfect, isn't it?

We really enjoyed their sweets :)

CHET bakery （チェト ベイカリー）| Ebetsu

Using this weekend, we went to "CHET bakery （チェト　ベイカリー）", a popular bakery in Ebetsu, where almost all bread are usually sold out until the noon!

As we arrived here 10 minutes before it is open, we walked around this area, but this is not a good decision!!! When we came back here again, there was already a long queue before the cashier!!

Baguette here looks so delicious!! 

So do sweetened buns!

As all my friends recommend their croissant, we ate the freshly-baked ones at a car just after buying them!! Hahaha! I love the flour and butter flavor!!

Well, well, well, it's time for lunch!
I love this Danish pastry with ham and cheese, but I strongly recommend this apple pie! The balance between juicy apple and flaky pie is perfect!

I also bought seasonal limited bread; apricot bread with cheese, and a green tea cream bun! Don't forget their standard baquett with raisins! Yummy x 2!!

These cinnamon croissants are supposed to be for breakfast tomorrow, but they are already gone!! Hahaha!

They use appropriate and different Hokkaido flour depending on the bread! Wonderful!!

After enjoying their delicious bread, we went to a Japanese sweets cafe near this bakery!!

DOLCE VITA（ドルチェヴィータ）| Confectionery Shop | Sapporo

There are a lot of recommendable confectionery shops in Sapporo and I like to find great ones in each area. How about "DOLCE VITA（ドルチェヴィータ）" near Costco?

Which should I choose??

They serve a lot of kinds of cute and delicious cakes!!

The rolls are also recommendable!

If you make a reservation, they will make original cakes like this↓

I selected chocolate cinnamon (bread) for breakfast,

some chocolate gifts for the Valentin's Day, and

some cakes like this↓ I love their cheese cakes and tiramisu.

The clafouti has a whole apple!!!!

As a Hokkaido ambassador (?!),  I also bought a baumkuchen make 100% of Hokkaido ingredients!

Milk, eggs, and flour produced in Hokkaido are super wonderful, and cakes make of the ingredients are perfectly yummy x 2!!!

Pan de Pan （パン・デ・パン）| Bakery and Sweets Shop | Kushiro

In Lake Akan （阿寒湖） area, there is my  favorite bakery and sweets shop, "Pan de Pan （パン・デ・パン）↓

Let's enter it!
How cute the cafe corner is! I love the atmosphere!

When you come here, please try these two kinds of cream puff: Mt. Oakan cream puff （雄阿寒シュー） and Mt. Meakan cream puff （雌阿寒シュー）↓

Mt. Oakan cream puff has a lot of delicious but not too sweet custard! Yummy x 2!!!

Mt. Meakan cream puff has a little bit bitter caramel flavored custard! Both of the puff is a cookie type pastry, and soooooooooooo delicious! Which should I order???

Both of them! Hahaha!

I love this rich custard with some cherry liqueur!!

But I cannot miss this bitter caramel custard, either!!!!

I really recommend their bread, too!

Constantly they serve 30 kinds of bread! Sounds wonderful, doesn't it?

If you like "unique" dessert, how about this miso pudding （みそプリン）? Sounds very exotic, but actually it is very yummy, tasting like caramel!!!!
