Hakodate （函館） reminds me of shio ramen!!!
"Jiyouken （滋養軒）" is one of the oldest ramen restaurants in Hakodate.......

This is "Hakodate sio ramen （函館塩ラーメン）"↓

The homemade noodles are very elastic, and yummy x 2!!!

Look at the soup!
I love this transparent broth! That's Hakodate sio ramen!!!

I also ordered boiled gyoza （水餃子）, which are chewy and bouncy!!
I love the gyoza with a lot of minced leek!!!

Chinese Kitchen Koka （中國厨房 広華）| Kucchan （倶知安）

After enjoying snowboarding in Niseko （ニセコ）, I dropped by "Chinese Kitchen Koka （中國厨房 広華）"

near JR Kucchan Station.

See? It's near the station.

 Hello!

As Niseko is a world-famous ski resort, menus in restaurants in this area are usually written in English and Japanese like this. Wonderful!

I ordered "Seafood Ramen Noodles （海鮮餡かけラーメン（塩味））", the most popular dish for lunch here.

The soup is clear, and tastes very seafood. I love it!

Hokkaido is famous for its seafood↓
We can enjoy ramen, a popular local food, and seafood at the same time! Perfect!

Noodles are flat like this, and go well with the thick starchy sauce. Yummy x 2!!

I'll be back here next year.
(The ski and snowboard season is about to fish in Hokkaido......)

Ramen Kichirin （らーめん きちりん）| Chicken Stock Ramen Restaurant | Ramen Kyowakoku （札幌ら～めん共和国）

If you want to try chicken broth ramen, I recommend "Ramen Kichirin （らーめん きちりん）". They have several branches in Sapporo, and now we can enjoy one of them at "Ramen Kyowakoku （札幌らーめん共和国）" next to JR Sapporo station. Convenient, isn't it?

As "Ramen Kichirin （らーめん きちりん）" is a chicken stock ramen restaurant, they doesn't use any pork to make their broth so that I can take Muslim guests to this restaurant!!!

Let's enter!

If you want to enjoy chicken stock soup from the bottom of your heart, I recommend salt or sio flavored ramen!

This is sio ramen!!! Looks delicious, doesn't it?

Char siu is also made of chicken, and really tasty!!!

The noodles are made by KANEZIN （カネジン）, a famous noodle company.

Look at the broth!
It is not oily, but savory!!! The balance of vegetable, seafood, and chicken in the broth is perfect!!

Ramen Shin （拉麺 Shin） | Ramen Restaurant | Sapporo

If you want to try delicious soy sauce-flavored ramen （醤油ラーメン） in Sapporo, I recommend "Ramen Shin （拉麺 Shin)"↓

Sapporo is famous for its miso-flavored ramen （味噌ラーメン）, but please forget about the stereotype when you come to the restaurant!!!

Just for reference, this is their miso↓. It's OK, but their soy sauce is much much better and recommendable!!! Please believe me!!

This is soy sauce-flavored ramen （醤油らぅめん）↓, the most popular ramen in this restaurant!!

The broth is made mainly of small dried sardine （にぼし）, which has distinctive aroma! Yummy x 2!!

The noodles are not very curly, and go well with seafood soup!!

The char siu is appropriately seasoned and appetizing!!!

Personally, I love a side dish rather than ramen here! Are you interested in the yummy yummy dish?

This is Soboro Bowl （月見そぼろ）, a bowl of rice topped with minced char siu and york!! Perfect combination, isn't is?
You cannot leave this restaurant without ordering it! Hahaha!

Kokuichiban Ramen Midoriya （こく一番ラーメン みどりや）| Ramen Restaurant | Sapporo

When you come to Mt. Moiwa, why don't you drop by "Kokuichiban Ramen Midoriya （こく一番ラーメン みどりや）", a very popular ramen restaurant especially for big eaters like me↓

This restaurant is located by "Ropeway Iriguchi station （ロープウェイ入口）", and it's easy to find it.

Yes!! Their ramen is popular especially for men....
(If you finish reading this post, you'll understand the reason why a lot of young men often come here.!)

What should I order?

The pandas are so cute in the tatami-floored seating area! Hahaha!!

There two kinds of chopstick bags...... Why?

"Katsu Taisho （かつ大将）" is next to this ramen restaurant, and we can also eat their delicious curry and rice with cutlet. Naturally I ordered............

THE curry and rice!!
The breaded pork cutlet is very juicy and yummy x 2!!

This is miso ramen （味噌ラーメン）↓
Personally I recommend miso the best among all kinds of ramen served here.

The bowl is so big that you can get really full!!

The char siu is so tender that you don't need to bite it!!

The diced meet on the top has different texture! Perfect!

The ramen must make you hungry! Hahaha!

The broth is not so rich that you can drink it up!

This is fried rice （チャーハン）↓, the most delicious dish in the restaurant. I guess more than half of the guests coming here order it!
Well, well, well........
There is a big surprise here! It comes with so-called "soup".....

Voila!!
Did I make a mistake? I did say it comes with "soup"......!

Actually "soup" means in this restaurant "ramen"!
Yes!
When you order fried rice, it comes with half-sized ramen! How wonderful it is!!!

If you want to order something different, how do you like curry ramen?

I recommend a ramen and gyoza dumpling （餃子） set, too!

I'm sure you've already be a big fan of this ramen restaurant!!
