Koubou Kato Ramen (工房 加藤らーめん)| Asahikawa Ramen Village

I came to Asahikawa Ramen Village again!
I love ramen very much!!
If you'd like to know the general information about this ramen complex, plz click my previous post→here!

We chose this ramen shop today. The main restaurant has a long history, but the new branch here opened on 28th of June, 2011! We have to try it!

The flagship ramen here is "aging soy sauce flavored ramen", but they have several other varieties such as "rich-taste aging soy sauce ramen", "hot miso ramen", miso ramen", "salt flavored ramen", "aging soy sauce ramen with vegetables" and so on.

You can see the restaurant history↓ The first shop, originally soba (buckwheat noodle) restaurant, was founded in 1947,  and created the prototype of Asahikawa-style ramen; thick curly noodles in soy sauce flavored pork bone soup.

This is a menu↓

I first ordered "char siu & mayonnaise bowl"; bowl of rice topped with minced naganegi onion and chopped grilled pork mixed with mayonnaise. I love it! It really  goes well with ramen!

This is "aging soy sauce flavored ramen", the most popular ramen in this restaurant!
They use seafood and pork bones to make broth and the combination was perfect! This is the origin of Asahikawa ramen!
