Menya Nanabee （菜々兵衛）| Ramen Retaurant | Sappro

If you want to eat delicious ramen in "chicken broth" in Sapporo, I recommend "Menya Nanabee （菜々兵衛"） in Shiroishi ward.

The restaurant is so popular that you have to wait in line for at least 30 minutes during lunch hours. But it's worth eating the ramen they serve!

Let's enter the restaurant!

They serve mainly four kinds of ramen;
* Normal broth: shio (salty)/ shoyu (soy sauce)/ miso/ very spicey miso flavors
* Paitan (chicken) broth （鶏白湯）: shio (salty)/ shoyu (soy sauce) flavors
* Nagoya-kochin （名古屋コーチン）--special chicken brand-- broth: shio (salty)/ shoyu (soy sauce) flavors
* Tsukemen (a kind of ramen)→Noodles and broth are separately served.

This is shoyu  (soy-sauce flavored) ramen in Paitan broth, topped with additional char siu (slices of tender pork)↓

This broth is very rich but not too oily! Perfect!

The ramen noodles here are straight, while the ones in Sapporo usually wavy and thicker.

I love this very tender char siu!!! Yummy x 2!!!

This is shio (salt-flavored) ramen in Nagoya-kochin broth↓

The broth is translucent and non-fatty, but tastes very rich! I also love this broth!

The thinner noodles, compared to those for shoyu ramen, go well with this lighter taste of broth!
