TAKU | Japanese Restaurant | Sapporo

If you want to eat fashionable Japanese cuisine in Sapporo, how about "Northern Food Design TAKU"? Does this look like French cuisine, doesn't it?

The restaurant is near Tanukikoji Shopping Arcade and easy to go there. Let's enter it!

 I love this cozy atmosphere!

This restaurant mainly uses ingredients in Hokkaido and beautifully arranges Japanese dishes with the chef's idea.

We ordered 5,500 yen dinner course that day!

■Appetizer
Mushrooms topped with homemade tofu

I love this tofu, tasting very soy beans!!!

■AppetizerⅡ
Sea urchin (caught in Nemuro) and Hokkai simaebi prawn**

This sea urchin & prawn taste very rich and naturally sweet!
**Hokkai simaebi prawn is a very local prawn, caught only in the eastern part of Hokkaido!

■Sake - Sooga pere et fils - miyamanishiki
This is very fruity sake made in Obuse winery! As I really love it, I bought the bottle of this on the way back to my place!!!

■Otsukuri (sashimi)
Mackerel/ sea bream/ adult yellowtail/ squid

All of them are caught in Hokkaido! I love the fresh sashimi!

■Main dishⅠ -fish-
Japanese flounder (caught in Nemuro) and vegetables (produced in Niseko)

The fish is very delicious of course, but the vegetables are really recommendable! I love Hokkaido vegetables!!

■Plum wine - Niwa-no-Uguisu -
Look at the brown dots! This alcohol is very thick due to the plum fruit! I'm loving it!

■Main dishⅡ - meat -
Do you have any idea what meat it is?

This is venison (deer meat). Actually, Hokkaido is famous for venison, which doesn't have that meat smell. I love this very tender venison!

■Sushi
Chu toro (high-grade tuna)/ flounder/ adult yellowtail/ squid/ Sakhalin surf clam/ octopus/ sea urchin/ salmon roe

Sushi is the king of Japanese food! Among them, Chu toro, Salkalin surf clam and sea urchin were especially delicious!

■Dessert
Green tea cake & blanc-manger

This is blanc-manger made with soy milk! Interesting, isn't it?

I cannot drink coffee and I ordered ginger ale.................. Hahaha!

Akahoshi (赤星)| Ramen Bar | Tanukikouji, Sapporo

There are a lot of delicious ramen restaurants in Sapporo, but if you like fish-based broth, I recommend "Ramen Sapporo Akahoshi (赤星)".

It is in Tanukikoji 7 chome, the edge of Tanukikoji, and

a very small ramen restaurant, but

always packed with customers like this↓

Look at the menu! You can eat delicious ramen at the price of 500 yen only! How wonderful!

Akahoshi reminds a lot of people of shio (salt-flavor) ramen

The ramen noodles are straight, and not thin or thick.

Look at the broth! It's not fatty and very light, but tastes very rich!

One of the characteristics of the ramen here is this topping; dried laver seaweed! It really suits with this broth! Yummy x 2!

After eating the half of the ramen, please add this powder to the broth!
This is dried mackerel and garlic powder, which makes the soup have different taste!

 This is shoyu (soy-sauce flavor) ramen with extra char siu (barbecued pork).

Additional pork slices are 200 yen only! Don't you think it is very reasonable?

Please try this tender and juicy pork!

The balance of the broth and soy sauce is perfect!

This is miso ramen with akadama topping!

The soup contains fish-based broth and special miso paste!

This time, I ordered "akadama" as a topping.

Akadama is a spicy chicken ball and please break it little by little to change the taste of soup!

I love this tasty and superior cost performance ramen!

ARTLACZÉ Gelato & Confections | Kitahiroshima

If you want to eat delicious gelato, pudding, & puff cream, and fresh vegetables near Sapporo, how about "ARTLACZÉ" in Kitahiroshima?

It's really difficult to find it..... If you find this very small sign, please follow the arrow!

There's nothing but this sweet shop around it, but it is always packed with sweet lovers like this↓

Let's enter the shop!

Is it wonderful to be able to buy very fresh local vegetables in the sweet shop?? I bought some sweet corn & tomatoes!

The cakes here are very delicious, but first.........

let's eat gelato!

Among a lot of kinds of gelato, one of my friends' choice was this strawberry and

this yogurt ↓

They use fully-ripened strawberries and very fresh local yogurt for the gelato and both of the flavors are very delicious!

This is my choice↓ I chose this fresh milk and

this salt butter caramel↓

I enjoyed very milky "fresh milk", and salty but sweet caramel flavors! Both of them are a little bit sweet, but I should have ordered sour fruit flavor or rum flavor, too!

This shop is proud of its custard!
I recommend their cream puff and pudding! Which should I order????

The answer is both! Hahaha!!!

The custard is very very creamy and wonderful! After getting an order, they put this custard into the puff shell! Sounds perfect, doesn't it?
I guess if this puff shell were more delicious, it would be the best!!!

Next, I ordered this "Premium PUDDING" topped with fresh cream produced in Hokkaido!

I love this sooooooo creamy pudding and high-grade fresh cream! It's very recommendable!

Last, but not least, I bought this "new" PREMIUM PUDDING" topped with maple syrup!

This is the best of the best! This maple syrup really goes well with very soft pudding! I'm lovin' it!
