Yumoto Meisuitei (湯元 名水亭)| Hot Spring Hotel | Kitayuzawa

Kitayuzawa is one of the famous hot spring areas in the southern part of Hokkaido. Today, we went to "Yumoto Meisuitei (湯元 名水亭)" to enjoy HUGE hot spring!

I love this stone garden♪ Great, isn't it? Let's enter the facility!

The vase is decorated on the stage at the lobby! My guests were so excited to take several pics!

We've also found samurai worriers' armors, helmets and cago carriers at the lobby! Wow! Wow! Wow!

We wish we could wear it............ Hahaha!

First, we enjoyed lunch at a Japanese room↓

Kimono is used as a partition like this↓

Japanese calligraphy and a beautiful vase are decorated at an alcove! How elegant this room is!

Look at the ceiling! We really enjoyed Japanese atmosphere!

Today's lunch was this lunchbox including kokanee salmon sashimi that I really love! Yummy x 2!!!

We also enjoyed Jingisukan or lamb BBQ! Hokkaido remind us of this local dish!!!

After lunch, we enjoyed HUGE hot spring!!! Look at this↓ 1,100L hot spring water is being gushed up from the ground per min.! Unbelievable!!!

How about this HUGE outdoor hot spring!!! Do you have any idea how spacious this outdoor hot spring is??

The answer is about 500 ㎡!!!! It's like a park!!! Wonderful!!!

After taking hot spring, we walked around the hotel.
Osaru river (長流川) is in front of the hotel and we walked down to its riverside.

This river is famous for its riverbed!

Look at this! We really appreciated the green tuff! How beautiful it is!!!

Don't forget a foot bath!

This is also in front of the hotel!

We were so impressed with this abundant hot spring!!!

Wow! It's very looooooooooooooooooooooong!!! How many people can enjoy this foot bath at the same time??? Hahaha!!!

The water is transparent, not too hot nor too cold!

We really enjoyed this naturally alkali hot spring!
(*This facility is also famous for crab buffet.)

Mushroom Kingdom (きのこ王国)| Mushroom Shop & Restaurant | Ootaki (Date)

Ootaki in Date city is a mountainous area and famous for mushrooms. "Kinoko Oukoku or Mushroom Kingdom" is on Route 276 between Lake Shikotu and Lake Toya, and we often visit here for a break. The shop has a lot kinds of mushrooms and we are always excited!

Look at the wall of the shop! Bears are welcoming the guests!!!

Let's enter it!

You can eat a lot of kinds of mushroom dishes including udon, buckwheat noodles, curry, ramen, mushroom bowl and so on.

I ordered mushroom tempura! I love maitake mushroom especially! Yummy x 2!!!

This is the most popular dish here in the restaurant.
The mushroom soup is only 100 yen! Unbelievable!!!

After eating the dishes, we enjoyed trying food samples in the shop. You can taste almost all items before buying them! I love these soy-source-flavored mushrooms↓

Wow! Great shiitake mushrooms!!

We've found the fresh ones, too! These nameko mushrooms are very big! We cannot buy such bulky nameko at supermarkets nearby in a city!!!

The shiitake mushrooms are very thick! Look very delicious!!!

Last but not least, we enjoyed this mushroom soup whose ingredients are three kinds of mushrooms; matsutake, maitake, and shiitake mushrooms.

It is very easy to make it. Put a spoonful of soup powder in a cup and pour hot water. That's it! You can use it as a condiment for Japanese dishes. Of course I bought it!

We really enjoyed mushrooms here!!!
*You can use bathrooms here 24/ 7! Please drop by the facility when you feel tired driving!!!

Ristorante Capri Capri (リストランテ・カプリ カプリ)| Italian Restaurant | Sapporo

I've found another delicious Italian restaurant today! "Ristorante Capri Capri" is near Nango 18 chome station (南郷18丁目)in Sapporo!

I love this cozy atmosphere here!

Look at the menu for lunch. If I had two-hour lunch time, I would order a C set, but.........I ordered an A set........... Hahaha!

I'm sure this must be my fateful encounter! I've found my favorite pasta on this page!

■Antipasto
All of them are Hokkaido products!
This pumpkin potage is very mild and rich! When I ate the smoked salmon (Ginsei 銀聖--brand salmon), I really wanted wine, but I had to return to our office.......... Hahaha!

This onion tart is not a normal tart! They use "Sapporoki (札幌黄)", a brand onion, which is very sweet! I really love it!!!

■Bread
Hot! Hot! Hot! Yummy x 2! I ordered the second one, too!

■Pasta
Voila!!!
Here comes the crab pappardelle! It is more than perfect! Wonderful!!

See!!! The rich source goes well with this wide pasta!

The hairy crab meat is very sweet and delicious! I really recommend this pasta!!!

■Dessert
Look at this cold Catalana! Italian dessert reminds me of Crema Catalana!!!

I was really relaxed, drinking the rose hip tea!

Perfect lunch, isn't it?

Ramen Isoji (らーめん いそじ)| Ramen Restaurant | Sapporo

There are a lot of delicious ramen restaurants in Sapporo. Today I'll show you "Ramen Isoji", one of the so-called "Keyaki Families" in Sapporo. I don't have to explain about it, but "Keyaki (欅)" is a very popular ramen shop in Susukino, Sapporo. The owner here used to work at the ramen restaurant, and then became independent.

Let's enter it!

There are several ramens in this restaurant, but Keyaki Families' ramen reminds me of miso flavor!

Voila!
This is miso ramen!
Look at the huge amount of thinly sliced naganegi onions and other vegetables! Wow! Wow! Wow!

The noodles are normal type, not thick nor thin. They are tangled with delicious hot broth!

The soup tastes rich but actually not fatty, more delicious than one in "Keyaki", the original restaurant! I love it!

It is only 700 yen. Reasonable, isn't it???
(cf. Miso ramen in Keyaki is 850 yen!!)

The owner and his wife are very friendly and the restaurant is very cozy!
Why don't you try delicious miso ramen near Nango 18 chome station (南郷18丁目), Sapporo?
