Uomasa （魚真）| Sushi Bar | Otaru （小樽）

I enjoyed a huge amount of sushi set for lunch today. This is "Uomasa （魚真）" near JR Otaru Station↓

Hello!!!

Look at the menu↓ All of them are very reasonable!!!!

This is "Uomasa Nigiri （魚真にぎり）"↓ Can you believe that this sushi set is only 2,600 yen???? Wow! Wow! Wow! Unfortunately I don't like syari, rice part, very much, but really impressed with the cost effectiveness!!!

The set includes abalone,

Botanebi prown, Sakhalin surf clam,

sea urchin, and

Dobinmushi （土瓶蒸し）, seafood and mushroom soup steam-boiled in an earthenware teapot↓

We were full!!!! Surprisingly, after lunch, we went to a cafe to eat cheese cake!!

Glass Art Gallery （ガラスアートギャラリー） 2013.11.11-2014.1.13／Otaru （小樽）

"Otaru Snow Story （第1章 小樽ゆき物語）" is now held in Otaru, which mainly consist of three events; "Santa Claus Market （サンタ市）"--Nov.30 to Dec.25, 2013--, "machi nabe 100選 (100 selections)"--Dec.13, 2013 to Jan.13, 2014--, and "Winter Shooting Star （冬の流星）"--Dec. 21 to Dec. 23, 2013--..

Look at the "Glass Art Gallery （ガラスアートギャラリー）", one of the special events during the festival↓

Original glass arts created by famous glass studios are displayed at JR Otaru station.↓

Yes! Otaru is sometimes dubbed as a glass city.

This event is held from Nov. 11, 2013 to Jan. 13, 2014.

Lake Toro （塘路湖）

As my tour guests asked me to drop by somewhere beautiful on the way back to Kushiro,  I chose Lake Toro （塘路湖）.

Now is the best season to see autumnal leaves around here!

 We enjoyed trekking around the lake for a while.......

How beautiful and peaceful the lake is!!

Actually I sometimes come here during the summer time, because this lake is a famous spot for...............

canoeing!! I really love outdoor sports very much!

We were so excited to encounter wild animals such as red foxes......

Nanporo Ramen Kirara （南幌らーめん きらら）| Ramen Restaurant | Nanporo （南幌）

Nanporo （南幌） is an agricultural town, 20 minutes away from Sapporo. If you want to eat delicious ramen and cabbages at the same time, I recommend "Nanporo Ramen Kirara （南幌らーめん きらら）" in the town↓

Yes! Their ramen is on "MICHELIN GUIDE Hokkaido 2012 （ミシェランガイド北海道2012）"! Wow! Wow! Wow!

When you come here all the way from Sapporo, you should try "ramen with cabbage kimchi （キャベツキムチらーめん）", which is often featured by TV and magazines!

I personally love their soup, which is made of pork bones, and chicken & duck bones! Sounds wonderful, doesn't it?

This is "ramen with cabbage kimchi （キャベツキムチらーめん）"↓

The roasted pork fillet and half-boiled egg are seasoned thick........

The noodles are a little bit curly like this↓

Look at the soup↓　They do not use synthetic seasonings, and you have a pleasant aftertaste!

I really really love this cabbage kimchi! It is not very spicy, and the cabbages are very sweet!! Actually I bought some kimchi after eating the ramen!

Just for reference, this is normal miso ramen （味噌ラーメン）, and

rice with pickled leaf mustard （高菜ご飯）↓

We had a wonderful lunch time♪

Kemukarou （燻製茶房 燻香廊）| Smoked Food Cafe/ Restaurant | Yoichi

After enjoying "Nanpo Tometaro Shoten/ Kunseiya （南保留太郎商店 燻製屋）"(click here→☆）, a very popular smoked food shop in Yoichi （余市）, we visited "Kemukarou （燻製茶房　燻香廊）" next to the shop↓

Yes! We can enjoy various kinds of dishes and desserts, cooked with smoked food sold in "Nanpo Tometaro Shoten/ Kunseiya （南保留太郎商店 燻製屋）"(click here→☆）.

Actually we were the last ones who could eat lunch in the restaurant that day! Lucky us!!
Which should we order????

I love old folk house restaurants!!

We felt very comfortable and relaxed......

Here comes salad and bread↓

Look at the salad↓ including smoked salmon and smoked tofu!! Wow! Wow! Wow! The tofu tastes like cheese!!

This is my main↓　"Smoked chicken and bacon with orange sauce （スモークチキンとベーコンのオレンジソース煮）" is wonderful! Don't you think smoked food goes well with sour orange sauce??

The bacon tastes very rich. Yummy x 2!!

I'm crazy about chicken recently......  It's so tender that I didn't have to use a knife........ Hahaha!!!

This is my dessert↓　It looks like normal cheese cake, but actually it is smoked pumpkin cheese cake （かぼちゃ燻製のチーズケーキ）!!! We can enjoy smoke flavor and sweet pumpkin at the same time!

Don't forget the smoked coffee （アイススモークコーヒー）↓
First drink the bubbles directly, and then drink the rest with a straw! I really recommend this iced coffee!!

We had a wonderful lunch time here!

Sushidokoro Fukucho （寿し処 福長）| Sushi Bar | Kitahirosima （北広島）

If you want to eat delicious but very reasonable sushi for lunch, how about "Sushidokoro Fukucho （寿し処 福長）" located in Kitahiroshima （北広島）, 20 minutes away from Sapporo?

This sushi bar is very popular especially among office workers around here.

They serve two kinds of lunch sets; one of them is like this↓

The set comes with eight pieces of sushi including maki, and ..............

steamed dumplings （シュウマイ）↓

Unbelievable!!
