VERY BERRY FARM (ベリーベリーファーム)| New Chitose AP

From July 12th to August 25th, the 2nd Anniversary Fair is held here in the New CHitose Airport (新千歳空港).

I really want to eat this shaved ice with some berries and ice cream(ベリーパフェ氷)!!! Looks yummy x 2!!

Yes! I went to "VERY BERRY FARM (ベリーベリーストロベリー) the other day↓

Except the special dessert, they also serve very mouthwatering ice cream and juice!

I want to try BERRY MIX SODA (ベリーミックスソーダ), too, which is an organic soda without any sugar! Sounds perfect!

Fresh fruit and vegetable juice looks healthy and effective for my skin!! Hahaha!!!

After all, I ordered VERY BERRY PARFAIT (ベリーベリーパフェ)↓, a summer special parfait, because...............

they now use fresh berries from Very BERRY FARM UEDA (ベリーベリーファーム上田) located in Yoichi (余市) during this season only

See!? Look at the raspberries and blueberries!!! I love them!! Their home-made raspberry and blueberry source is wonderful!!

Their ice cream is super x 2 recommendable, which is made of delicious Hokkaido milk without any sugar, essence, coloring, emulsifier, and stabilizer.

After saying good-by to my guests at the airport, I returned to this ice cream and juice stand today to eat this special parfait served during the anniversary fair!

This is very lovely!!!

How do you like the two kinds of berry source on the ice cream? I'm sure this is the perfect shaved ice!!!

Look at the frozen pineapple and fresh blueberries and raspberries!!! Yum-yum!!

Of course their ice cream is very creamy and milky!!

Shaved ice with home-made berry source is refreshing during the summer time!!

I'm so happy today!

Marché Yamahana (マルシェ山花)| Chiffon Cakes & Fresh Vegetables | Kushiro

We came to Kushiro (釧路), which is famous for red crested cranes! This is a cafe that I had wanted to drop by for a long time......

"Marché Yamahana (マルシェ山花)" consists of two areas; Farmer's Market and ............

 a chiffon cafe. I order a monthly special! Sounds wonderful, doesn't it?

I love this cozy atmosphere!

Voila!
This is "green tea and azuki red been chiffon (抹茶あずき)".

They use green tea produced in Oyama Fram at Uji (宇治抹茶小山園).

Fluffy x 2!! And it is very fragrant!!! I love green tea!

Of course I recommend their standard chiffon↓

Especially "Quarter (クォーター)", which has four kinds of standard chiffon; pumpkin, vanilla, coco chocolate, and sesame!

This cafe is near "Kushiro city zoo (釧路市動物園)" and "Japanese Crane Reserve (釧路市丹頂鶴自然公園)".

Hokkaido Berry Sweets Fair (北海道ベリースイーツフェア)| Odori BISSE (大通ビッセ)| KINOTOYA (きのとや)

As I wanted to eat something sweet today, I dropped by "Odori BISSE (大通ビッセ)" after work↓

Look at this↓ 


"Hokkaido Berry Sweets Fair (北海道ベリースイーツフェア)" is held on the 1st floor from the 1st to 31st of August!! Wow! Wow! Wow! I have to try it!!

Eeny meeny miny mo................
The farfait at "Machimura Farm (まちむら農場)" looks very delicious, but this time, I chose............

"KINOTOYA Cafe (きのとやカフェ)"↓

This cafe reminds a lot of local ladies of "Omuparfait (オムパフェ)"↓

This sweets is sold only at this cafe even through KINOTOYA has several branches in Sapporo. Should I order it, too???

Voila!
This is "Berry Parfait (ベリーのパフェ)". The berries are produced in Yoichi town (余市町), in Hokkaido. Sounds perfect!!

Toppings are strawberries and blueberries. How mouthwatering they are!!

Look at the body!
The Hokkaido milk soft ice cream tastes wonderful!!! The raspberry source makes the parfait much much more yummy x 2!!!

It's perfect to eat desserts at this terrace when it is sunny!

The fair is held until the end of this month. Hurry up!!! Hahaha!

Ikiunagi (活鰻)| Eel Specialty Restaurant (活うなぎ専門店)| Sapporo

Today I'll show you one of my favorite eel specialty restaurants in Atsubetsu ward (厚別区). Actually, we, Japanese, have a custom to eat grilled eels in the summer time to get energy!

"Ikiunagi (活鰻)" keeps fresh eels all the time, and serves very delicious grilled eels (鰻のかば焼き)!!!

Let's enter it!

This is the menu. What should I order?? I want to eat everything! Hahaha!

The chef is very talkative, and has a good sense of humor!

After guests order the dishes, he picks up one of the dancing eels in the tank,

cuts them, gets rid of the bones, and

char-grills them in front of the guests. How exciting!!

This is "Kobushi set (こぶし)". Does it look appetizing??

Actually there are two layers of grilled eels!! Yes, the other one is in the rice!! Wow! Wow! Wow!

This is "Hitsumamushi (ひつまむし)"↓

Finely-cut eels are on the rice.

Voila!!
I really love it! Yummy x 2!!!
OK, I'll show you how to eat it.

First of all, mix rice and eels very well like this.

We are supposed to eat it in three ways.
First, eat it as it is. Yummy x 2!!!

Secondly, put some condiments such as minced laver seaweed and green onions on the eel rice. Although the base is the same, it tastes very different! How interesting it is!

Last but not least, pour broth over it. Don't forget to put small amount of wasabi horseradish on the rice!

How do you like it?
