Sushiya Koudai （すし屋高大）| Renga Yokocho （レンガ横丁）| Otaru

I dropped by Renga Yokocho （レンガ横丁）, food stall complex in downtown Otaru, to eat delicious sushi tonight!

There are a lot of food stalls here, but

"Sushiya Koudai （すし屋高大）" is the best if you want to eat sushi!!!

Cheers! I ordered beer first!

This is Otooshi （お通し）, an appetizing small dish seved as soon as customeres sits down. I love these two-year-old oysters caught off Saroma in Hokkaido, which taste very rich and dense!!!

Mixing the oysters with pepper and lemon juice, we appreciated the delicious fresh seafood!

I ordered the chef's special tonight!
First, Hakkaku rockfish was served. It was caught off Otaru. I love its texture!!

Tuna is a must at sushi bars, isn't it?

The chutoro is very delicious! I enjoyed comparing the previous tuna to this chutoro!

This mackerel was caught off Kyusyu, a southern part of Japan!

This gizzard shad was also caught off Kyusyu! Yummy x 2!!

The fishing site of sushi was returned to Hokkaido! This Sakhalin surf clam was caught off Tomakomai! Very tasting!!

The scallop was caught in Funka Bay. This is very thick and delicious!! Bravo!!

The glass shrimp was caught off Toyama Prefecture! Glass shrimps and firefly squids caught off the prefecture are very appetizing!

Drinking two glasses of beer, I ordered plum liquid, which made me more hungry! Hahaha!

This oyster was caught off Akkeshi. I love Kakiemon, an oyster brand there!

The sea urchin was caught off Hamanaka in Hokkaido, which is the best sea urchin in this season!!

After enjoying salmon eggs,

the egg was served!

We really enjoyed the sushi bar tonight! They serve delicious sushi at reasonable prices!!

Onuma Quasi-National Park （大沼国定公園） in the Winter Time

I often come to "Onuma Quasi-National Park （大沼国定公園）" throughout the year as a tour guide. Actually this park is my favorite because it has different characteristics in each season. Today I'll show you the park in the winter time.

Look at the pic below! Lake Onuma is covered with ice!

Mt. Komagatake (1,131m) in the spring time is of course beautiful, but

look at the romantic mountain capped with snow! I love it!

This is Kogetsukyo bridge （湖月橋） in the spring time, and

this is the same bridge in the winter time. As there are not a lot of people in this season, the park is very calm and peaceful.................

Tons of islands in the lake turn............

white like this! How beautiful they are!!

During the winter time, we can enjoy ice fishing in this park!

I love smelt tempura!!! Usually we cook it on the spot!!

 This is "Table De Rivage （ターブル・ドゥ・リバージュ）", my favorite western-style restaurant in the park.

It is famous for its beef stew,

but during the winter time, we can also enjoy Japanese dish sets in this restaurant, which are usually served at "Gengorou （源五郎）", its sister restaurant.

Asahi Beer Brewery （アサヒビール北海道工場）| Factory Tour （工場見学）| Sapporo

Would you like to drink beer free of charge? If so, why don't you join a factory tour at the Asahi Beer Brewery （アサヒビール北海道工場） in Sapporo?

As it is not allowed to take pictures of their assembly lines, I'll jump to the tasting room! Boom, boom! Hahaha!

Anyway, the factory tour is very interesting and enjoyable! But the tasting is more interesting and enjoyable!!! Are you agree with me?

Unlike Sapporo Beer factory tours, they serve up to three glasses of beer to their visitors free of charge! Are we in the heaven?

When you come here, you should first drink "Asahi SUPER DRY （アサヒスーパードライ）", the most popular beer in Asahi!

How about the black beer?

Of course, we should try it, too!!

Don't forget the EXTRA COLD corner!!!

They keep the beer under 0C!!

I really love and recommend this special beer!!!!

Please enjoy their beer jelly chocolate （ビールゼリーチョコ）, which is available only at their factories!

I love my job to enjoy a lot of exciting things all the time!!!

MILK KOBO （ミルク工房）| Ice Cream Parlor | Niseko

Niseko is famous for its powdery snow, and a lot of people enjoy skiing and snowboarding there, but do you know it is also famous for its milk? Today I'll introduce "MILK KOBO （ミルク工房）", one of the yummy x 2 ice cream parlors in this town, to you!

This shop is near Hilton Niseko Village （ヒルトンニセコビレッジ）. Well, well, well, let's enter it!

Their ice cream is super x 2 delicious!! I always come here when I stay at Hilton Niseko Village! Am I addictive to their desserts? Hahaha!!

Look at the ice cream made of milk fresh from the cow and local vegetables & fruits! How wonderful it is!

This time I bought the milk soft ice cream! It tastes really milk! How appetizing it is!!

Actually this shop is famous not only for its ice cream, but also for its cream puff!!

After they get an order, they fill fresh custard into the puff! Perfect, isn't it?

Would you like to take one bite? Hahaha!

The custard is made of milk fresh from the cow that day only! I really love this very creamy custard!

I also recommend this yogurt drink!

Last but not least, I bought this fruit roll as a souvenir↓ It is a production-limited roll with dices of kiwi fruits, peaches,  raspberries .......

I fully enjoyed Niseko with my tour guests this time again!!!

Snowmobile （スノーモービル）

Would you like to ski or snowboard in Hokkaido during the winter time?

How about other winter activities such as snowmobile?

Look at the huge white plain! You can enjoy the nature, traveling by snowmobile!

Is it difficult to handle the big vehicle? No, no, no! If you can ride bicycles, no sweat!

There are some snowmobile courses in Hokkaido, and the rental fee is around 10,000 to 15,000 yen/ hour including winter gears such as boots, gloves, coats, and a helmets, lessons by special instructors, and hot drink service after riding it.

This time, we enjoyed it in Niseko. How exciting it is!
