RUSUTSU RESORT （ルスツリゾート）

This is "RUSUTSU RESORT （ルスツリゾート）"↓, one of the famous ski resorts in Hokkaido!

At night, the facility is lighted up like this↓

How romantic it is!!

During the Christmas season, it is decorated with Charisma ornaments in and outside of the hotel and the ski slopes.

The room is very comfortable! I love it!

About the dinner, we can choose several options at the hotel.
First, how about the buffet?

October Fest （オクトーバーフェスト） serves a wide variety of local dishes.

Looks very cozy, doesn't it?

I love Hokkaido food, such as shika deer meet↓,

king crabs,

freshly-fried tempura, and

seafood bowl!!! Yummy x 2!!

I tried CENA （チェーナ）, an Italian restaurant at the hotel, too.

They have Japanese, French, and Izakaya restaurants and so on!!!

Using a dinner coupon, we can enjoy Italian dinner course like this↓

The facility has hot spring, which makes us relaxed especially after skiing and snowboarding!

 About breakfast, I recommend the buffet.

We can eat as much salmon row as possible!! Hahaha!

I made salmon row bowl! How wonderful it is!!

How about this local drink? The milk with yam and oligosaccharide （健康ドリンク　ヤーコンオリゴ糖入り） is not very delicious (sorry!!), but very unique!

They have several bread fresh from oven!

If you want to eat a Japanese set menu, how about Sekkatei （雪花亭）?

It has wide windows, providing comfortable stay for a long time!

The snow condition here is perfect!

I recommend this resort for real ski and snowboard lovers.

Graubünden （グラウビュンデン）| Sandwich and Cake Shop | Niseko

Niseko （ニセコ） has a lot of recommendable restaurants and cafes. Today I'll show you "Graubünden （グラウビュンデン）", one of my favorite cafes in this area.

I love this atmosphere!! Cute and comfortable, isn't it?

This cafe is famous for its huge and delicious cakes. They use local ingredients for their yummy x 2 cakes, which are not so sweet that we can easily eat them up! Hahaha!
Which cake do you like the best? (I think it is very difficult to choose only one among a lot of kinds!!!)

The cakes can be taken out, but I love to eat them at this cozy cafe. Actually it is customary for me to come here and relax after skiing or snowboarding in the winter time!

They also serve huge and delicious sandwiches.

Surprisingly (or naturally), I usually order their cake and a sandwich at the same time even though both of them are very big........... We can choice the kind of bread for the sandwich!

How about ALT, avocado, lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles sandwich???

Voila!
We have to open our mouth as wide as we can. Hahaha!

Well, well, well.............. They serve some seasonable sweets, too! How do you like this Halloween cookie? How cute it is!

As this restaurant is near the Nikeko Ski area, I also sometimes take out some cakes and sandwiches. 

Today I took out the Original sandwich （オリジナルサンドイッチ）, which has scrambled egg, tomato, cheese and bacon! Yummy x 2!!!

I also enjoyed the fish and chips!!

Don't forget their cakes!! This time I ordered the Fruit Custard Pie! Love it!!!

Huge Christmas Tree | Sapporo Factory （サッポロファクトリー） | Sapporo

When you come to Sapporo during the Christmas season, I recommend you to go to the Sapporo Factory （サッポロファクトリー）, a shopping mall located in downtown Sapporo↓

Look at the Santa Claus on the chimney!!! The building used to be a beer factory. That's why this mall was named the Sapporo Factory.

At night it is lighted up like this!! Wow! Wow! Wow!!

When you come to the Atrium （アトリウム）, a facility in the mall, during the day time, the Christmas tree is like this, but when you come here at night.................................

Voila!
My guests from Singapore and I were so excited to take pics and pics!!! Hahaha!

Personally, I recommend to take pics from some different angles.

The color is changed regularly! How wonderful it is!!

 We spend here for a while.....................　Very romantic, isn't it???

I love the Sapporo Factory during the Christmas season very much!!!

I also enjoyed ice cream beside the tree as usual! Hahaha!

Hakodate Christmas Fantasy （はこだてクリスマスファンタジー）| Hakodate

Christmas Fantasy （クリスマスファンタジー） is a famous Christmas event held in Hakodate （函館） in the southern part of Hokkaido.
A giant fir presented from Halifax City in Canada, a sister city of Hakodate, is transformed into a dazzling illuminated Christmas tree, which throws colorful and bright lights into the sky above the sea near the Kanemori Warehouse area （金森倉庫群）area, which is only a 10 minutes walk from the Hakodate Station.

I love this Christmas decoration here.

At night, the atmosphere of this area dramatically changes like this↓ Beautiful, isn't it???

The lighting ceremony, performed by nominees, is held every day from the 1st of Dec. to 25th of Dec.

When we went there, a newly-wed couple were selected to press the bottom to light up the tree ornaments.

Are you ready???

Voila!

Both the switching on of the tree at 6 PM, and the fireworks displays, are worth watching!!!

The tree is illuminated from 4 to 5:45 PM, and then again from 6 PM to midnight. On Friday and Saturday and the 22nd of Dec. to 24th of Dec., the tree keeps illuminated until 2 AM.
