Restaurant Tancho (レストランたんちょう)| Western-style Restaurant | Tanacho Kushiro AP

I'm now in "Tanacho Kushiro Airport (たんちょう釧路空港)" located in the eastern part of Hokkaido!

It takes less than 40 minutes from Chitose Airport to Kushiro Airport! How convenient it is!!! It is shorter than travelling hours from Chitose AP to Sapporo! Hahaha!!

Tancho means red crested cranes in Japanese. The special national monuments can bee seen around this area!

If you're hungry, let't go to the third floor!!

There are two restaurants on the floor. One of them is "Hokuto (北斗)", a Japanese restaurant.

Their ramen and salmon bowl are very good.

How about "Restaurant Tancho (レストランたんちょう)", a Western-style restaurant?

Wow! Wow! Wow! How huge the prawn fries are!!!

I've decided this restaurant for lunch!

Isn't it wonderful to enjoy airplanes while eating something delicious?

This is one of the popular dishes here. It is called "Supakatsu (スパカツ)", which means spaghetti and pork cutlet. Yummy x 2!!

But I ordered a "deep-fried prawn set (海老フライ定食)"↓

Because they are so huge!!!!

I really love Kushiro, which is blessed with a lot of delicious marine products!!!

Nordic Farm (ノルディックファーム)| Ice Cream Stand | New Chitose AP

I'm again in the New Chitose Airport

Today I'll show you "Nordic Farm (ノルディックファーム)", one of the popular ice cream stands in the airport.

They use fresh milk produced in Ikutahara (生田原) in the Okhotsk region, Hokkaido. Sounds yummy x 2!!

They serve not only ice cream, but also a variety of crepe like this↓ Hokkaido is very famous for its dairy, and their fresh cream is also very recommendable.

Look at the gelato!!! Which should I order????

They make some seasonal ice cream in each season in addition to the regular flavors, and I ordered chestnut and walnuts gelato.

I love the texture of crunchy nuts in the gelato! Yummy x 2!!
But honestly I wanted to eat something else, and ................

I also ordered fresh milk, the most popular flavor in this shop.

The gelato in this shop is a little bit sweet and very milky.

KAMADO MARUYAMA (竈円山)| Hamburger Steak Restaurant | Sapporo

Do you know Japanese Shorthorn (短角牛)? It's a rare brand beef whose red meat is very delicious. If you want to try it, I recommend "KAMADO MARUYAMA (竈円山)"↓

All of their ingredients including Japanese shorthorn and vegetables are produced in Hokkaido. Sounds wonderful, doesn't it? They serve very delicious hamburger steak grilled on kamado oven, not a pan.

Look at the menu! There are a lot of options about the sauce; from several types of cheese, red wine to wasabi sauce..................

Well, well, well................
Cheers!!! I love sparkling wine!

We ordered a set B including appetizer, salad, bread, soup, main, drink, and dessert. This is the appetizer.

The salad is very fresh!!!

Today's soup was asari clam chower with corn. After eating the half,

we added Chinese red chili oil to it. One bit, and multiple taste. Hahaha!

The bread was served. That means we will soon have the main!!!

Here comes the wood plate! I cannot wait!!!

Wearing a paper apron, we were so ready! Hahaha!

Voila!!!
I ordered a "hamburger steak and grilled freshwater prawn with tomato cream sauce (手長海老とサロマ産ルッコラのトマトクリームソース)" set. Look at the rocket produced in Saroma, Hokkaido. It was also great!!

As the red meat is delicious, I ordered it rare! They don't use onions nor bread for the hamburger steak. Yes, this is made 100% of Japanese shorthorn.

First, the chef poured shorthorn juice, and then tomato cream sauce over it.

Furthermore, he sprinkled cheese over it! This is super-delicious!

This is "hauberger steak with cheese fondue sauce (竈特製ブレンドのチーズフォンデュソース)".Personally I recommend their cheese sauce!

We were so hungry that we also ordered beef stronganoff, which were simmered for more than four hours. Of cause they use shorthorn for it.
As shorthorn is less fatty and tastier, we could eat three portions!!! Hahaha!

Cheers, again.

Last but not least, we enjoyed panna cotta.

Yotsuba White Cozy (よつ葉ホワイトコージ) | Ice cream Stand | New Chitose AP

The New Chitose Airport (新千歳空港) has a lot of delicious ice cream stands because Hokkaido is very famous for its dairy! Today I'll show you "Yotsuba White Cozy (よつ葉ホワイトコージ)"↓

Look at the wide variety of menu!! Which should I choose? Hahaha!

"Parfait with Four Kinds of Berries (4種のベリー&ベリーのパフェ)" is the most popular parfait in this stand, but I ordered ..............

"Parfait with Hokkaido Ebisu Pumpkin and Azuki Bean Jam (道産えびすかぼちゃとあずきのパフェ)", because it is a seasonal limited item from the 22nd of September to the 31st of October!

Why is their ice cream delicious? It says that ①the milk is form Tokachi district, which is famous for its milk, ②fat in the ice cream is 100% from milk, and ③it is shipped at the temperature of less than 10% in order not to damage the milk flavor. That's why..............

Very cute stand, isn't it?

Voila! Here comes the pumpkin and azuki parfait!!

The soft ice cream is topped with bean jam and pumpkin paste produced in Tokachi district! Sounds yummy x 2, doesn't it? Actually the area is famous for its beans, too!

It is very milky!! Would you like to eat it? (Yes!!)
Yotsuba (よつ葉) is a dairy company based in Tokachi district, loved by a lot of local people.

Look at the body! It has some dices of castella or cake, which is a little bit sweet.

Just for reference, if you want to eat high-grade castella, I recommend "Hokkaido Milk Castella (北海道牛乳カステラ)" at the same airport.

The cake is super yummy x 2!!! It is not too sweet, and please eat it with non-sugar fresh cream. Actually this is my favorite sweets!

They also serve a delicious parfait.

If you like sweet cake and want to order one from a lot of choices, I recommend "Yotsuba White Cozy (よつ葉ホワイトコージ)", while if you want to enjoy flavors of each high-grade ingredient, I recommend "Hokkaido Milk Castella (北海道牛乳カステラ)" although their menu is limited.
