If you want to eat sushi reasonably in Sakaimachi Main Street （堺町本通） in downtown Otaru, how about Fuji Zushi Otaru Branch （ふじ鮨小樽店）?

It is a good idea to eat it at counter, but.................

how about the lacquer table seats on the tatami floor?

This room is a mixture of western style (tables) and Japanese style (tatami and lacquer ware), and very comfortable to non-Japanese visitors, too!

We ate too much! Don't be surprised! How many people in the group? Just FOUR! Hahaha!

■Nigirizushi (Tokujyo) 握鮨（特上）
I recommend this Sakhalin surf clam!

■Seasonable Sushi 旬の握り
Autumn reminds us of Pacific saury!!

■Shohuku Nigiri 招福握り
If you like high-grade sushi (toro, abalone, splendid alfosino, etc.......), I recommend this! It is only 3,680 yen!!! Very reasonable, isn't it?

■Sushi Gozen 寿司御膳
If you want to eat seafood soup, tempura, chawanmushi as well as sushi, how about this? It is only 2,520 yen!

■Temaki Sushi 手巻き寿司
We ate a lot and a lot! Hahaha!

■ Customized sushi お好み
If you have some requests, the chef makes your own favorite sushi set like this↓

Other than sushi, they serve several kinds of seafood dishes.

This is very local dish!

Otaru Stroller's Bus （おたる散策バス）

If you want to go around Otaru by bus, I recommend "Otaru Stroller's Bus （おたる散策バス）" with a "One-Day Pass （一日乗車券）"

It  is 750 yen, and you can go almost all popular tourist destinations in Otaru including Otaru Kihinkan (Guest House)（小樽貴賓館）, Otaru Aquarium （おたる水族館）, and Otaru Tengyama Ropeway （小樽天狗山ロープーウェイ）↓

Monthly Ice Cream (Made by MISSU HOUSE) on the Limited Express Trains of JR Hokkaido | September, 2012

When I use a limited express train here in Hokkaido, I always eat monthly ice cream sold on the train.

This time, I went to Sapporo from Hakodate. This is JR Hakodate Station↓ Here we go♪

We took a Super Hokuto Limited Express Train as usual!

Voila!
This is my favorite ice cream!!! The monthly ice cream in September is.....................

Kurosengoku black beans(黒千石）!!

It contains a lot of anthocyanin, and very healthy! 

This ice cream is made by MISSU HOUSE, which is one of my favorite ice cram makers in Sapporo!
Hokkaido is famous for dairy products, and we can eat delicious ice cream here!

Do you wanna try it? Hahaha!
It is very fragrant and dairy!!! I love it!

After enjoying the yummy x 2 ice cream, I drank corn tea↓

It is a caffeine-free drink, and also contains black beans! Actually Hokkaido is famous not only for its milk but also beans and corn!

SoRa Natural Auberge in Lake Kussharo （ナチュラルオーベルジュSoRa 昊）| Auberge | Teshikaga （弟子屈）

Would you like to enjoy a wonderful restaurant on Michelin Guide Hokkaido 2012 in the earstern part of Hokkaido? How about this? "SoRa Natural Auberge in Lake Kussharo （ナチュラルオーベルジュSoRa 昊）" is an auberge (restaurant and hotel) run by TSURUGA GROUP （鶴雅グループ）, a leading resort hotel group in Hokkaido↓

It's near Lake Kussharo （屈斜路湖） in Akan National Park （阿寒国立公園）.

Reservation is required for dinner, but we can freely enjoy lunch.
(* It is so popular that I personally recommend to make a reservation in advance even for lunch.....)
Look at the lunch courses↓ We ordered a pasta set.

We've arrived here. How lovely this log house-style building is! Let's enter it!

We all enjoyed this peaceful and calm atmosphere!

Actually I booked a table near the window so that we can enjoy the huge green site!

Wonderful, isn't it? This is a premises of this auberge! 

They use blue color (color of Lake Kussharo) effectively in the restaurant.
Even before lunch, we were already happy to see the spacious green land!!

■Clubhouse sandwich with smoked salmon
Hokkaido is famous for delicious salmon, and this sandwich is super-delicious! Yummy x 2!!

■Cauliflower soup
Hokkaido is also famous for its delicious vegetables! This soup is my favorite!!! It tastes very rich, mild, and tasty!!! Can I have a second helping? Hahaha!

■Main
Do you have any idea what it is? I'll open it!

Voila!
This is pasta with big hamburger steak!! Next time what should I order? I really want to try all lunch courses here.

After the course,

my guests enjoyed coffee, and

I enjoyed a soft drink.
After the lunch, we went to.................

the huge site in front of the auberge!!! How beautiful it is!!

We just relaxed, doing nothing, just enjoying the sound of the nature..........

walking for a while, and taking some pictures...............
How lovely the holiday is!

This auberge has only two rooms. It is not suitable for a big group, but wonderful for couples. Don't you think so??

My guests and I were really happy to share such a wonderful time in Akan National Park.

Beef restaurant +Store 2.0 （裏参道牛肉店） | Beef Restaurant & Butcher | Sapporo

I really love meat!! If I have to choose a wonderful beef restaurant in Maruyama area in Sapporo, I recommend "Beef restaurant +Store 2.0 （裏参道牛肉店）".

How do you like this open kitchen, and the cute and comfortable atmosphere?

This is their lunch menu! Which should I choose??? Everything is delicious!!! Hahaha!

Look at their popular lunch sets↓ Surprisingly, the part of the meat is changeable every day! Sounds perfect for beef lovers like me!!

Actually we came here to eat this special dish （美味散策円山オーラムランチ）, being served from 14th of Sep. to 30th during "Sapporo Autumn fest （さっぽろオータムフェスト）", a food festival in Sapporo. This special lunch set is so popular that you should make a reservation in advance!!

Every set comes with salad and a drink. Fresh vegetables in the salad tastes great, but baked ones like turnip are also very recommendable!

Voila!
This is the main for the special lunch set!!! They use Oohira Beef （おおひら牛） and mushroom grown in Hokkaido! Perfect, isn't it??

The beef cutlet is cooked rare and very juicy!! Actually the sauce is not too rich to interrupt the juicy beef!!

With this rye bread, we ate this sauce up! Hahaha!

How about the eggplant and water shield soup? They serve not only great beef dishes, but also wonderful side dishes!!

We ordered the beef steak set, too. As I said I'm a beef lover, I ordered the steak rare!

Oohira beef is not oily, but very tasty. The problem is it is difficult to find a restaurant serving this brand in Sapporo...........

Last but not least, a drink was served, and I chose a peach juice.

After enjoying super-delicious lunch, we bought their yum-yum roast beef at the butcher corner!

I really recommend this very cozy beef restaurant serving perfect beef dishes!
