Manee Thai （マニータイ） | Thai Restaurant | Sapporo

If you want to eat "real" Thai food, which doesn't suite Japanese taste, I recommend "Manee Thai" in front of Norbesa near Susukino, Sapporo.
The facade looks very Thai!!!! I love the objects!!

You can meet very friendly Thai staff members and chefs in this restaurant, which makes you very relax!

Look at the dish and chopstick case! How cute they are!!

First, we ordered SINGHA beer, my favorite, and SPY, a Thai white wine! We really enjoyed Thai atmosphere!!

I love Vietnamese Gỏi cuốn, but the Thai-version is also very delicious! We enjoyed fresh vegetables with secret spicy sauce! Yummy x 2!

Then we ordered sathi, but there are no skewers!!! I asked the chef why the meat is not arranged on bamboo skewers. He said, "it is easier to eat it"! Hahaha! I love the idea!

Don't miss rice noodles! It's very spicy, but that makes us thirsty and drink beer a lot! Wonderful! I love corianders, which are vegetables with distinctive Thai aroma!

The flat-type noodles absorb spicy manpla (fish sauce)-based source! We can enjoy the texture of dried shrimps and a lot of vegetables. How healthy it is!

As we ate Thai spicy dishes, we wanted another beer! Do you know Chung? The aroma is super-wonderful!

Last, but not least, we ordered stir-fried kankury, which is available from Nay to October only! We enjoyed the seasonable vegetable here! How lucky we are!

We really enjoyed the dinner!

Kani Taro （かに太郎）| Crab Restaurant | Shiraoi

Shiraoi is along the Pacific ocean, and famous for seafood such as cod roe and crab, Shiraoi beef, and vegetables. Today I'll show you a super-cost-performance crab restaurant, "Kani Taro".

The shape of the restaurant is very unique like this. You cannot miss it! Hahaha!

The inside of the building is a little bit old-fashioned (I'm sorry...........), but

Look at the price list! I cannot believe crab rice with miso soup is only 500 yen!!!! Wow! Wow! Wow! I love this restaurant!!!

Viola!!!
This is a crab rice set!

The crab rice is topped with seasoned vegetables, sliced fried egg and red ginger.

That means under the toppings......................................
a lot of crab meat is on the rice!!!

Very tasty & fresh crab meat is on the rice!!!!!

I'm sure if you eat the same quality of crab rice in Sapporo, you will pay 1,500 yen for it!

Thank you very much, the restaurant owner!!! He has never raised the price since he opened this restaurant! How wonderful!

Soft Koubou （そふと工房）| Soft Ice Cream Stand | Sapporo

There are a lot of recommendable ice cream stands in Hokkaido, and today I'll show you "Soft Koubou" in Sapporo.

There are a lot of kinds of soft ice cream made of 100% Hokkaido milk. And I'll give you good news to ladies!!! The ice cream includes collagen, which makes your skin look younger!!! I love it!

The main product in the shop is salt-flavored soft ice cream. I have to order it!!!

Well, well, well, I'll show you some of the ice cream in the shop!
First, you can choose the size - jumbo soft ice cream is twice as big as normal one -, and a lot of kinds of toppings!

I love this Mont Blanc series↓
They serve chocolate Mont Blanc, caramel Mont Blanc, purple potato Mont Blanc, green tea Mont Blanc, sesame Mont Blanc and so on!!!

How about parfait series?
They serve pumpkin, apple, adzuki been, strawberry, chocolate and Tiramisu parfait!

If you like crape, how about Tiramisu crape?? Sounds wonderful!!

There are a lot of kinds of crape here. What should I order??? Hahaha!

Surprisingly, they serve tacos, too!

"first", I ordered Salt-flavored soft ice cream↓ I love this shape!

"Next", I ordered purple potato Mont Blanc↓ How gorgeous it is!

We really enjoyed Hokkaido milk soft ice cream in this shop!

Fujitei （ふじ亭）| Ramen Restaurant | Muroran

Muroran, a city in the southern part of Hokkaido, is famous for yakitori  and curry ramen!

You will see a lot of curry ramen banners like this in the downtown. Looks yummy!!

Today I chose "Fujitei", one of the popular ramen restaurants especially among young men (although I am a lady............. hahaha!)

Except ramen, they serve a lot of set menus..........

such as rice with deep-fried oysters, shrimps, dumplings, stir-fried vegetables and pork, and so on.

See? All of the customers except me are men! They serve bountiful and delicious meals!

Look at this↓ This is zangi* curry ramen! Four pieces of zangi are on curry ramen! Wonderful!

*Zangi is a dialect in Hokkaido, which means fried chicken.

How about this? Pork cutlet curry ramen! This is one of the dream ramens! You can eat three of the popular Japanese dishes; curry, pork cutlet, and ramen altogether!

Of course, I ordered it!
Wow! Wow! Wow! The cutlet covers ramen completely!

How huge it is!!!

The char siu (pork) is a little bit thick and very tender!

I love other toppings; bamboo shoot, wakame seaweed, and minced naganegi onion!

 The very rich and thick curry broth is well entwined around the ramen noodles!

The char siu goes well with this curry flavor!

And so does the pork cutlet! Today I'm not thinking about the calorie because I love this ramen! Hahaha!

If you have a big stomach, please order rice, too! Pour the curry soup on rice and enjoy it!

Toritatsu （鳥辰）| Yakitori (Grilled "Chicken") Restaurant | Muroran

Yakitori is grilled chicken. Chunks of chicken and vegetables are arranged in bamboo skewers, broiled over a charcoal fire and dipped in a sweet soy sauce.

Yakitori is one of the popular dishes in Muroran, located in the southern part of Hokkaido, and there are a lot of yakitori restaurants or izakaya in the downtown. Today we chose one of the famous restaurants, "Toritatsu". Let's enter it!!!

A. This is not chicken, even though it is called yakitori or grilled "chicken"!
Yakitori in Muroran is actually grilled "pork"! Please put mustard on the meat. This is how to eat Muroran yakirori!

Typical yakitori includes chicken and naganegi onion, while this Muroran yakirori includes pork and normal onion!
