Milk Garden （ミルクガーデン）| Dairy Cafe | Ebetsu

In Machimura Farm （町村農場） in Ebetsu, "Milk Garden （ミルクガーデン）", a new dairy cafe, was opened on April 21st, and we visited there this weekend! (Detailed information on Machimura Farm? Please refer to my other post→☆)

Wow! Wow! Wow! Although it is located at the edge of the city, a lot of people are waiting for their delicious sweets and ice cream!!! Let's enter it!

Ice cream and dairy products made by Machimura Farm is very delicious and milky. We looked around the shop and cafe, and found...................

cheese, butter, and............

Look at these!!! they produce unique kinds of cream cheese such as blueberry, black pepper, salami, and Mascarpone cheese flavors. We fully enjoyed trying the samples!! Hahaha! 

Personally I recommend the "Dounut Rusk （ドーナツラスク）"↓ and ...........

the "Yogurt Jam （特製たべるヨーグルト）"↓, which goes well with bread!!!

What should we order for afternoon snacks?

Doughnuts look very yummy!! Actually they are so popular that some of the flavors were already sold out!

Cakes and parfait sounds perfect.......................

After order your desserts, let's go upstairs, and

eat them on the second floor!

This is "Sesame Parfait （ごまパフェ）"!

Have you ever tried their soft ice cream? It is so milky that you may feel you are eating frozen high-quality milk!

This super-delicious ice cream goes well with the cake, rice flour dumping, and cereal, all of which are not too sweet!! Yummy x 2!!!

This sesame sauce is also not too sweet and very recommendable!

How do you like the "Berry Berry Parfait （ベリーベリーパフェ）"?

The two kinds of berries makes the delicious ice cream more appetizing!!!!

Another dessert I ordered is a doughnut with soft ice cream! This freshly deep-fried fluffy doughnut is covered with cream cheese and Gouda cheese.

I ordered soft ice cream on the top!
This doughnut ice cream dessert is so delicious that we should come back here to try other combinations! They serve several kinds of doughnuts and soft ice cream!!!

How about a chocolat doughnut with..............

soft ice cream??? More than perfect!!

If you like cheese cake, you must love the "Unbaked Yogurt Cheese Cake with Soft Ice Cream （ヨーグルトレアチーズケーキソフト）"!!!

From the second floor, we can enjoy rural landscape like this↓ We have still some snow around here, but in May to September, this field will be covered with vivid green grasses and plants!!

Nanporo Ramen Kirara （南幌らーめん きらら）| Ramen Restaurant | Nanporo （南幌）

Nanporo （南幌） is an agricultural town, 20 minutes away from Sapporo. If you want to eat delicious ramen and cabbages at the same time, I recommend "Nanporo Ramen Kirara （南幌らーめん きらら）" in the town↓

Yes! Their ramen is on "MICHELIN GUIDE Hokkaido 2012 （ミシェランガイド北海道2012）"! Wow! Wow! Wow!

When you come here all the way from Sapporo, you should try "ramen with cabbage kimchi （キャベツキムチらーめん）", which is often featured by TV and magazines!

I personally love their soup, which is made of pork bones, and chicken & duck bones! Sounds wonderful, doesn't it?

Voila!
This is "ramen with cabbage kimchi （キャベツキムチらーめん）"↓

The roasted pork fillet and half-boiled egg are seasoned thick........

The noodles are a little bit curly like this↓

Look at the soup↓　They do not use synthetic seasonings, and you have a pleasant aftertaste!

I really really love this cabbage kimchi! It is not very spicy, and the cabbages are very sweet!! Actually I bought some kimchi after eating the ramen!

Just for reference, this is normal miso ramen （味噌ラーメン）, and

rice with pickled leaf mustard （高菜ご飯）↓

We had a wonderful lunch time♪

Sushidokoro Fukucho （寿し処 福長）| Sushi Bar | Kitahirosima （北広島）

If you want to eat delicious but very reasonable sushi for lunch, how about "Sushidokoro Fukucho （寿し処 福長）" located in Kitahiroshima （北広島）, 20 minutes away from Sapporo?

This sushi bar is very popular especially among office workers around here.

They serve two kinds of lunch sets; one of them is like this↓

The set comes with eight pieces of sushi including maki, and ..............

steamed dumplings （シュウマイ）↓

Can you guess how much is the set?

Unbelievable!!

But it is too early to be surprised!

Autumnal Thanks Festival （秋の感謝祭）| Former Machimura Farm （旧町村農場）| Ebetsu

We are now in Former Machimura Farm in Ebetsu, 20 minutes away from Sapporo.

Machimura Farm is one of the oldest dairy farms in Hokkaido, in which we can enjoy cow barns influenced by Professor F. H. King of the University of Wisconsin. As I've been Madison, WI, I really love this atmosphere!!

We just relaxed in the compound for a while..........

Look at the objects! How cute they are!!

The purpose to come here is to enjoy Autumnal Thanks Festival.

Let's enter the barn!

Wow! Wow! Wow!
There are several unique vegetables produced in this city, such as Chinese lantern plants （ほおずき）！！！

 How about this?

I loved this colorful radish （紅くるり大根）, and made pickles at home.

Except fresh vegetables, some dried vegetables were sold in this barn.

This carrot pound cakes （にんじん朝ご飯） sounds very healthy.... It has a half of carrot!!!! Of course I bought it!

Smells very wonderful.........

I love roasted corn with soy source! Yummy x 2 in my tummy!!!

We really enjoyed the local harvest festival!

Just for reference, the compound has a dairy museum, where we can learn the history of Machimura farm and Hirotaka Machimura （町村 敬貴）, a pioneer of dairy farming in Hokkaido. If you want to enjoy the current Machimura farm, it takes 10 minutes from here, which has a cafe serving delicious milk desserts such as ice cream, donutses, cheese, pudding and so on.
