FURANO MARCHE (フラノマルシェ)| Food Complex | Furano

If you want to fully enjoy something local in Furano in one place, I recommend "FURANO MARCHE (フラノマルシェ)"↓

It is a new facility with four areas; a farmers market, a sweet cafe, a souvenir shop, and a food court.

This is "HOGAR(オガール)", a farmers market.

Furano is famous for its delicious vegetables and fruits.

This is "SABOR (サボール)", a sweets cafe comoplex. "Bus Stop (ばすすとっぷ)" serves delicious ice cream!

This is tomato sundae, a seasonal product in summer. I really recommend this tomato jam made of local fully-ripened tomatoes.

When you enter this building,

there is also a bakery.

At "Cazeres (カゼール)", a sweets cafe, I recommend Furano melon smoothie during the summer time!!

We had a wonderful time at this patio in the complex!

How about "AREGENT (アルジャン)", a souvenir shop?

I'm sure they have everything produced in Furano such as local sweets and

lavender goods.

Last but not least, we visited "FURADISH (フラディッシュ)", a food court.

As I wanted to try Furano Hamburger, I dropped by "Kitchen Furano (キッチンふらの)".

Their cheese hamburger is very recommendable, but today I ordered...............

"Summer Vegetable Burger (夏、野菜バーガー)" available only in the summer time!

It consists of Furano pork (brand pork), and local summer vegetables! Yummy x 2!!!

Without going to "Furano Cheese Factory (富良野チーズ工房)", you can enjoy their delicious ice cream at "FURANO MARCHE (フラノマルシェ)".

I personally recommend cheeseasparagus, and corn flavors!
(If you're interested in "Furano Cheese Factory", please refer to my other post→. I visited there to enjoy their cheese and gelato!)

Have you ever tried such looooooooong egg rolls?

It is named "Namara Bou (なまら棒)" with several flavors.

Voila!
It is about 50 cm long!!!

The tomato and cheese flavor tastes like pizza!

Furano Wine House (ふらのワインハウス)| Restaurant | Furano

Furano is famous not only for its lavenders, but also for its wine, cheese, melons, and ice cream. Today, I'll show you "Furano Wine House (ふらのワインハウス)", a restaurant serving the local  wine, cheese, and so on.

As it is located on the hill, we can enjoy the Tokachidake mountain range (十勝岳連峰) and the whole picture of the city from the restaurant. Wonderful, isn't it?

Let's enter it!

I recommend tables near the windows so that you can enjoy the beautiful scenery!

This is the lunch menu↓

The most popular dish here is cheese fondue, which is made of delicious local cheese!

If you feel it big, they serve the smaller version (right)!

Of course, don't forget their wine!

Voila!
I ordered a small cheese fondue and hamburger steak set! The best combination, isn't it?

Yummy x 2!! It's very creamy!!

And this is very juicy!!!

The main dishes go well with plain  rice!! Of course, this is Hokkaido rice!

Furano Wine (富良野ワイン) is delicious, but personally grape juice made of local grape is also very recommendable! Please try it!

After lunch, we walked around the restaurant, and relaxed for a while!

Saito Farm (斉藤ファーム)| Hamburger and Steak Restaurant/ Cafe | Sapporo

If you want to eat A5-grade Wagyu (Japanese Black) produced in Tokachi, eastern part of Hokkaido,

I recommend "Saito Farm" in Sapporo.

This is the restaurant! Amazing, isn't? It takes only 5 minutes from JR Hassam Station to this restaurant on foot! I like this atmosphere!

They keep goats! How cute it is!

This is the facade! This cowshed was renovated as a restaurant!

It is adjacent to this park and we can relax!

Let's enter the restaurant!

Wow! How romantic it is! You can enjoy piano performance at night!

Each table has a lamp like this↓

I guess this restaurant is a perfect location for dating!!! It's like a cafe at Kitaichi Glass in Otaru!!!
*If you are interested in Kitaichi Glass Cafe, please refer to my previous post→click here! 167 glass lamps dacorated are decolated in the cafe!

Please ring this bell, when you decide the order!

This is the menu for dinner. They serve several types of hamburger steaks, beef stew, and steak. They use A-5 grade Japanese Black beef! How wonderful!

They also have a lunch set, which includes 30 food items produced in Hokkaido, served in a gorgeous pottery called Kutani-yaki and Oribe-yaki. They mill Hokkaido brown rice by themself at this restaurant, and use kelp seaweed for miso soup! Sounds very healthy lunch, doesn't it??

Cheers!
First, we enjoyed Hokkaido red wine!

Fresh vegetables are used for this salad! Smoked salmon looks very Hokkaido!

You can choose rice or bread.

This papar napkin says, "we use A-5 rank Japanese Black and when the steak will arrive at your table, please tell the chef how you'd like it".

Voila!
This is the hamburger steak! I chose demiglace, but you can choose Japanese sauce!

Look at the potato! The whole potatoes were baked on the hot plate, too!

And.................
Japanese Black Hamburger!!!

We ordered "medium", but  I recommend "rare" for the steak because this meat is very delicious and sweet! I'm sure next time I come here, I'll order "rare"!
This is one of the most delicious hamburger steaks in Sapporo!!!

This onion soup is also very recommendable! It tastes very rich and naturally sweet!

Look at the chopstick cover! They are also famous for coffee!

The best-selected coffee beans are roasted, milled at this restaurant cafe!

It was a perfect dinner!

If you want to enjoy high-grade Hokkaido beef, I recommend "Saito Farm".
