Le Midi （ル・ミディ）| French Restaurant | Kitahiroshima

"Le Midi （ル・ミディ）" is my favorite French restaurant located in a residential area in Kitahiroshima, just 15 minutes away from Sapporo.

It was snowing in Sapporo today. Can spring be far behind???

This is a cozy and cute French restarurant♪ I sometimes visit here for lunch.

We chose a C lunch set as usual because we wanted to eat both meat and fish. Hahaha!

Wine and beer can be selected among several choices.

■Appetizer
My friend selected this pumpkin potage. Yummy x 2!! It comes in the BIG soup dish!

This is mine.
I love vegetables, and chose "scallops and pickles". Some sweet potato was included in the pickles!!! Isn't it very unique???

I recommend their home-made bread. As it is very delicious, we asked for another helping twice!

■Main (Fish): Grilled salmon with herb and lemon sauce
The herbs were grown in their garden. Look at the cut dish!!

Under a lot of vegetables..............

Voila!!
Hokkaido salmon was completely hidden! The balance of herb sauce and salmon is perfect♪

■Main (Meat)
This is beef steak with mustard sauce.

And this is main.
The pork was stewed with blue-berried honeysuckles and

very tender like this. I just put a fork on the meat! It is very appetizing and recommendable!!!

Among several desserts, we chose

apple tart, chocolate cake, and raspberry sherbet. Every dessert tasted so wonderful that we were so excited!!!

I'll be back!!!

BISTROT PETITE REGION （ビストロプティットレジョン）| Sapporo

"BISTROT PETITE REGION （ビストロプティットレジョン）" is a cozy and fashionable bistro located near Kikusui （菊水）subway station.

I'm sure ladies and couples like this homey and cute atmosphere!

Their lunch sets are very reasonable, and we can choose an appetizer, a main, and a dessert among several choices. I love this bistro!

*Their dinner course is only 3,000 yen! Unbelievable!!

Everything including the bottle is very lovely♪

I really recommend this home-made bread! Actually I ate four pieces of it! Hahaha!

We choose "cold cauliflower soup" as an appetizer. The natural sweetness of the vegetable is very yummy!

My friend chose "chicken satay" as a main dish. It's very bountiful and appetizing!

This is my main↓

Look at the spencer roll steak!

I put a lot of mustard with this medium-rare steak! Yummy x 2!

Last but not least, we enjoyed "Blanc Manger". The berry sauce really suits with this white dessert. 

Please open your mouth! Hahaha!

French Restaurant KAZAMA （フレンチレストラン カザマ）| Sapporo

"French Restaurant KAZAMA （フレンチレストラン　カザマ）" is located at the edge of the downtown area of Sapporo, serving very delicious meals at reasonable prices↓ Let's enter it!

The restaurant was fully booked today (as usual). As we were the first customers to enter it, I was able to take this pic↓ It's not a big restaurant, but very cozy and homelike♪

I ordered "Piollot Cuvee de Reserve Brut"!!

A 3,200 yen lunch set is really recommendable and makes you happy♪ You must be surprised the number of dishes for the set!!!
Well, well, well, the lunch show will start!! Hahaha!

■Carrot mousse with gelee
Under this gelee................

Look at the very creamy carrot mousse! Yummy x 2!!!

As the bread was so delicious, I ate five pieces of them.......... Am I a big eater?? (Yes, of course!! Hahaha!)

■Oyster saute and flan
The oysters are caught off Akkeshi, a famous oyster fishing place located in the eastern part of Hokkaido.

The oysters themselves were delicious, of coruse, but

this flan is very rich and recommendable!!! Tastes really oysters!! We were so impressed with their meals!

■Burdock potage
It has distinctive aroma of burdock! Were we in a gourmet paradise??

■Deep-sea porgy
The sauce really suits with the fish! Perfect!

■Grapifruit sorbet
Well, well, well........... We were looking for the main dish, while we were enjoying this citrus sorbet!

We can choose a main out of two kinds.

■Stewed mutton and vegetables
My friend chose this stewed mutton↓ We shared two mains with each other!

■Wagyu beef hamburger steak with foie gras
How gorgeous it is! Foie gras is surrounded with wagyu beef and this hamburger itself is wrapped with cabbage!

When I cut it............
I really enjoyed this tasty and appetizing hamburger!!

We can choose one dessert among several kinds.

I chose blanc-manger and honey ice cream.

My freiend chose raspberry ice cream and kumquats.
Both of them were very delicious!

Last but not least, we enjoyed brownie with tea.

We fully enjoyed this very delicious lunch set!

Do you remember how much the set is?

It is only 3,200 yen! You must go and enjoy their meals!

La Blancheur （ラ ブランシュール）| French Restaurant | Maruyama, Sapporo

Sapporo holds "Sapporo Autumn Fest" from September 16th to October 2nd in 2011, and during the period, 12 famous restaurants in Sapporo offer special lunch sets at the price of 2,000 yen.

Among the 12, we went to one of the famous Japanese restaurants, "La Blancheur", to enjoy seasonable products!

The restaurant "La Blancheur" is in this "white" building! I love this concept!

We checked the menu. Oh! It was fully booked! Please make a reservation in advance!!

Let' go upstairs to the 3rd floor and enter the restaurant!

It's beautiful, isn't it? I love this white-based wall and floor!

The plate, spoon & fork and knife are fashionable, aren't they?

This is today's course↓ It's very reasonable, only 2,000 yen!!! I cannot believe it!!!

■Appetizer
The pink pots on the top are sakura shrimps! The toast and cheese were very HOT and the shrimps are very crispy! Yummy x 2!

Well, well, well, we ordered champagne first!

Our first choice was "Christian Etienne CHAMPAGNE BURT"!

Look at the glasses! Even glasses for water are very stylish!

This bread is also recommendable, but

look at this! Do you have any idea what it is? I thought first it was olive oil, but smelled different!

Guess what! This is natane oil (rapeseed oil) produced in Kaminokuni, Hokkaido, which has distinctive aroma and goes well with this bread!

We enjoyed the bread with the special vegetable oil and this butter.

■ Sakhalin surf clam - Fricassée
This clam was caught in Tomakomai, southern part of Hokkaido. This fricassée was so delicious that we were soooooooooooooooo happy! This restaurant has a lot of something white and delicious!!!

I loved the common blue mussels, too! The clams were very juicy!

This is our 2nd choice; "Petit Bourgeois", a little bitter French wine.

Cheers, again! Hahaha!

Here come main dishes!

■Main - fish -
Ratatouille topped with cooked adult yellowtail

The fish does NOT have any fishy smell. I asked the chef why it is. He said, "it was very fresh, caught in Nemuro, Hokkaido". He added, "it was boiled in milk first and cooked". That's why............. We were so moved with this main dish!

■Main dish - meat -
This duck was very tender!
We enjoyed both main dishes, comparing each other!

■Dessert
Coconut croustillant with yogurt ice cream

I love this dessert! We enjoyed a lot of kinds of texture and tastes in it!

This is blanc-manger with thyme ice cream!
I've found another something white and delicious!! This ice cream is my favorite! I love dessert which isn't too sweet!

We ordered herb tea.

Kamille and Rooibos Vanille. Both of them have wonderful aroma and

we enjoyed eating this baked confectionery with the tea! Perfect lunch, isn't is?
