Sapporo Ramen Alley (元祖さっぽろラーメン横丁)| Sapporo

Sapporo Ramen Yokocho (元祖さっぽろラーメン横丁) is a famous ramen alley in Susukino, and known as the birthplace of miso ramen.

With roots dating back to 1951, this Ramen Alley now has 17 ramen restaurants. We can feel the nostalgic atmosphere, while "Ramen Kyowakoku or Kingdom (ラーメン共和国)" near JR Sapporo Station is like a ramen theme park.

Today we chose "Teshikaga (弟子屈)", a famous ramen restaurant featuring both miso and seafood broth!
Let's enter it!

Please buy a ramen ticket and take a seat at the bar.

Some ramen restaurants like "Teshikaga (弟子屈)" has a half-size ramen and we can enjoy a few bowls of ramen at some different restaurants in this alley! I like this service!

My tour guests have already learned the menu in advance, and we ordered "seafood broth with finely squeezed soy sauce (魚介しぼり醤油)".

Voila!
This is the ramen, using the special soy sauce!

Smells very seafood!

It has a piece of thick char siu or barbecued pork, which is very tender and delicious!

The noodles really go well with this soy sauce flavored broth!

A lot of scallops and fish caught in the Okhotsk Sea and locally grown vegetables are used for this broth! That's way it is very appetizing!!

Please fully enjoy selected local ramen restaurants at this alley!
